Mission

To protect and promote the health of the people of Missouri, the Center for Local Public Health Services facilitates and provides leadership in:

• assessing the local public health system's capacity to meet basic needs;
• building a cutting edge public health system based on the core functions and essential services;
• developing resources and opportunities for public health workforce development; and
• developing and strengthening internal and external partnerships.
